Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.

God, your ways are wise and true. Your decrees breathe life into your people. You are a God who forever directs their steps.

I confess that I have not studied your Word as much as I should. I want to know you more and be led by you. I want to guide my family and run my home by your loving instructions. Give me the discipline to study your Word and the ears to hear your voice. Show me, Lord.

Open my children’s eyes to you today. They are growing quickly. Before too long they will be off to college or on their own. Please capture their hearts now and walk with them through the rest of their lives.

Thank you for giving us your Word so we may know you. Thank you for protecting us from ourselves with your instructions.

In your holy name, amen.
